改變生命的禮物：真摯的愛、熱情與慈悲

On our Tao mission trip, I witnessed the preservation, cultivation and propagation of the essence of the spirit of ‟Zhong Shu” embodied in the passion and compassion of our Tao sisters and brothers in the Taiwan community. I have attended many classes and learned the importance of following the footsteps of predecessors, Tao principles and practices, the spirit of Zhong Shu, and faith vow and performance. These principles and practices have been the foundation of my cultivation growth and healing for which I am very grateful. However, to witness the result of the principle and practices beyond the learning and understanding the significance of not just ‟doing” but ‟being” is an amazing life changing experience for me.

在此次的道務之旅（訪道行）中，我親眼見證了台灣道親們以熱忱與慈悲之心，守護「忠恕」精神的精髓。我參加了許多課程，理解到追隨前人足跡的重要性、道的原則與實踐、忠恕精神，以及信愿行意義等的重要性。這些原則與實踐成為我修行成長與療癒的基石，對此我深切感激。然而，親眼見證這些原則與實踐帶來的成果，超越了單純的學習與理解，讓我深刻體會到不僅僅是「做」而是「做好（成為）」的意義，這是一次改變人生的奇妙體驗。

Faith without vow or vow without internal and external action is ineffective and does not fulfill any purpose. Our Tao mission trip has broadened my understanding of the greater mission of Tao around the world and the responsibility of Tao cultivators in North America. To manifest the living spirit of ‟Zhong Shu” through the practice of Faith, Vow and Performance is the true way to pass the torch. I am eternally grateful to my extended family for their dedication and heart-work, and for their preservation of the history of our Tao roots, as well as the spirit in which they share the essence of Tao. I have received a life-changing gift of true love, passion and compassion from their heart that has given me strength, courage and wisdom which is unwavering. I pray that I can pay forward their gift to others with the same pure heart and intention which was given to me.

沒有愿的信仰，以及缺乏知行合一的愿力，都是無效的，無法達成目的。我們的訪道行拓寬了我對全球道務開展之偉大使命的理解，以及北美修道者的責任。通過信、愿、行的實踐，展現活生生的「忠恕」精神，才是真正傳遞火炬的方式。我無比感激我的大家庭，感謝他們所有的奉獻與心血，感謝他們對道脈根源的守護，以及他們分享道之精髓時所展現的精神。我從他們心中接收到了改變生命的禮物――真摯的愛、熱情與慈悲，這賦予我堅定不移的力量、勇氣與智慧。我祈願能以同樣的純淨心靈與意圖，將這份禮物傳遞給他人。

My takeaway from the Tao mission trip is that we must all understand the urgency of ‟to cultivate and propagate Tao with the spirit of Zhong Shu.” It is the pure act of preserving and passing on the roots of our humanity, manifesting our God self and helping others to do the same. It is truly the blessing and Heaven’s grace that we can receive Tao, cultivate and propagate Tao during this very urgent time for the amassment of souls to return to heaven. Thanks to the Grace of Heaven, virtue of predecessors and compassion and guidance of Tao Transmitting Masters. I am forever grateful for the opportunity.

此次訪道行的收穫是：我們須理解「以忠恕精神修道與傳道」的緊迫性。這是保存並傳承人性之本原、展現我們天然本性，並幫助他人同樣能做到。在這個原佛子大規模回歸理天的緊要時刻，我們能夠得道、修道並傳道，實乃上天之賜福與恩典。感謝上天的恩典、前人的德行，以及點傳師的慈悲與指引。我永遠感恩有這樣的機會！

Really appreciate all you have done to make our ‟Tao Mission” trip fulfilling and transformative. This experience has given us an opportunity to connect to the roots of our predecessors, our affinity and our humanity to expand our capacity to deepen our cultivation and grow new leaves. Your thoughtfulness, unconditional love tolerance and kindness is truly a reflection and extension of God’s Love, Grace  and Mercy. There is much to be said of the joyfulness and passion from the Tao hearts of our Tao family here in Taiwan. They are truly a living example of the spirit of Zhong Shu. Taiwan is a beautiful place and I could stay longer to enjoy the scenery and the beautiful spirit of Tao Community. But I am looking forward to getting home to Michigan to renew my vow and begin my new journey of sharing and propagating Tao.

真心感恩大家所做的一切，讓我們的「訪道行」既充實又有啟發性。這次經歷讓我們有機會接軌前人輩的根源、我們的因緣及我們的人性，以擴展我們的成長能力、深化我們的修行，並生長新的枝葉。大家的體貼、無條件的愛、寬容和善意，真實地反映了　明明上帝的慈愛、恩典和憐憫。台灣的道親們心中的喜悅和熱情，讓人稱道之處太多了！真正體現了忠恕精神的生活典範。台灣是一個美麗的地方，我真想停留得更久，享受這裡的風景和道場的美好精神。但我也期待著回到密西根，重新立下愿力，並開展與他人分享和傳道的新旅程。

There is a lot I could say about my goals and intentions, but action speaks louder than words!! There is a saying from the Bible: Luke 12:48, which states: ‟For unto whom soever much is given of him shall much be required” - meaning those who have been given much, will be held to a higher standard of responsibility. Luke 12:48 states: ‟Everyone who has been given much, much will be expected; and from the one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked.” Thank you. Sincerely from my whole heart to everyone who is behind the scenes, your selfless contribution made this trip possible! My Tao heart has been deeply touched and inspired! Gan en ci bei.

關於我的目標和意向，我可以說得很多，但行動勝於言語！《聖經‧路加福音12:48》說：「因為多給誰，就向誰多取。」――意思是那些被賦予更多的人，將被要求承擔更高的責任。《聖經‧路加福音12:48》也說：「誰被賜予的多，也將被期許的多；多託付誰，就向誰多要。」衷心感謝每一位幕後無私貢獻的人，是你們成就這次美好的旅程！我的道心深受觸動和啟發！感恩慈悲。

Vow to share the humble loving energy with others

我愿以謙卑而充滿愛的能量與遇見的每一個人分享「道」

I felt the sacred energy in the beautiful temples. I also saw it shining through the eyes of my Taiwanese Tao relatives. May the humble loving energy I experienced in Taiwan now be embodied within my heart to share with all I encounter in America.

我感受到莊嚴佛堂的神聖能量，從台灣道親的眼裡我亦看到閃光。願我在台灣所體驗到的那份謙卑而充滿愛的能量，如今已融入我的內心，期許未來在美國我能勇敢地與所遇見的每一個人分享。

A Onec-in-a-Lifetime Visit

此生難逢的一次參訪

Here is my takeaway from the trip: We were all very touched by the warm welcome we received at each temple while in Taiwan. We sincerely appreciated the time, effort, and personal sacrifices made by each member so that we could enjoy our once-in-a-lifetime visit. Each temple was different, yet each gleamed with a common Tao spirit. Imagine what a beautiful world this would become if more people would awaken to the true Tao.

這次旅程帶給我的感悟是：在台灣的每座佛堂裡，我們為所受到的熱情歡迎而深受感動。我們由衷感謝每一位道親所付出的時間、努力與個人奉獻，讓我們得以享受這次此生難逢的參訪。每座佛堂、道院各具特色，但都閃耀著共同的「道」的精神。試想，如果更多人能夠覺醒於真正的「道」，這個世界將會變得多麼美好。
