2025 IKT USA Youth Summer Camp Part V

Attending the IKT camp was a meaningful and exciting experience. Not only did I make new friends and meet new people, I learned to treasure everyone that had supported me and all my loved ones. Additionally, the lectures gave me a deeper understanding of the topics I didn’t know about before such as IQ, EQ, AQ, MQ and how life is. Not just only about IQ, rather, in life you have to incorporate all the Q’s in order to be successful. Zen time and the activity ‟I’m Not Alone” helped guide my thinking in life and how I should be more grateful to those who have supported me. Overall, the camp was an amazing experience that allowed me to get a deeper understanding of myself and to be a better ME.

參加成長營是一段既有意義又令人興奮的體驗。不僅讓後學結交了新朋友、認識了新同學，也讓後學學會更加珍惜支持我的人以及我所愛的人。此外，課程讓後學對一些以前不太了解的主題有了更深入的認識，例如IQ、EQ、AQ、MQ，並讓後學明白人生不應只專注於IQ，而是需要全方面的能力，才能真正邁向成功。「靜心禪修」以及「共同的聲音」這些活動，更引導後學深入地思考人生，同時提醒後學要對所有支持我的人心懷感恩。總而言之，這次營隊是一段非常美好的經歷，不僅讓後學更認識自己，也激勵後學努力成為更好的自己。

My experience at the I-Kuan Tao summer camp was one of the most inspiring, unforgettable, and enjoyable adventures I have ever had. I feel truly grateful and fortunate to have been part of it. The camp taught me great wisdom, such as being grateful and appreciating what I already have, learning to recognize and manage my emotions, experiencing what it's like to be a vegetarian, and understanding the importance of perseverance. All of these can be applied not only to my daily life but also to my spiritual cultivation of Tao. 

Moreover, the camp offered not only meaningful lectures but also many fun activities. These activities provided me with a great opportunity to step out of my comfort zone, meet and interact with new people, and strengthen my bonds with friends. As a result, there was not a single moment when I felt bored. I could clearly see the effort and dedication that all the transmitting masters, lecturers, facilitators, and volunteers put into this program. I am deeply thankful to them for sacrificing their time and showing such strong commitment to the camp.

參加成長營，是後學最受啟發、最難忘、也最愉快的一次經驗，後學深深感恩也很慶幸能參與其中。這個營隊帶給後學許多寶貴的智慧，例如：懂得感恩和珍惜所擁有的一切、學習認識與管理自己的情緒、體驗素食生活，以及體會堅持與毅力的重要性。這些收穫不僅能運用到日常生活，也能落實於修道中。

此外，夏令營不僅提供豐富的課程，也設計了許多有趣的活動，讓後學有機會走出舒適區，認識新朋友、彼此交流，並增進與道親之間的情誼。因此，整個營期充實而愉快，未曾感到片刻乏味。後學深深感受到所有點傳師、講師、輔導員，以及志工們為此次活動付出的心血與奉獻，內心充滿感恩與敬意。感謝他們無私地投入時間與精神，成就了這次意義非凡的成長營。

One trip, one family, and one community. That indescribable feeling of finding a place where you truly are able to fit in: sharing similar experiences with other campers and developing unbreakable bonds through silly games is how I would describe the I-Kuan Tao camp. Not knowing what to expect previously, I only hoped to have fun and potentially made some friends. However, this camp exceeded all my expectations. Not only did I love the scenery and yummy food, but I also realized that the Tao community is much larger than I had previously thought. In the process, it also brought me so much joy. With supportive, engaged, and sociable Tao youth from across the country, the IKT camp was truly a special and memorable experience.

一次旅行、一家人、一個團體。後學以一種難以言喻的感動來形容一貫道成長營：與營隊夥伴分享相似的經驗，透過那些好玩逗趣的遊戲，在互動中建立起牢不可破的情誼，讓人找到一個真正能融入的地方。在來之前，後學並不知道會發生什麼，只希望玩得開心，並認識一些朋友。然而，這次成長營超出後學的所有預期，後學不僅喜歡這裡的風景和美味的食物，更意識到道場比後學之前想像的要大得多，這也讓後學感到非常快樂。來自全國各地的青少年道親們互相支持、積極參與、熱情友好，一貫道成長營真是一次特別而難忘的經歷。

Compared to my experience as a participant in the 2015 I-Kuan Tao USA Summer Camp, joining the planning committee for the 2025 I-Kuan Tao USA Summer Camp was very different. Being involved in both the planning and the running of the camp, I was truly appreciative of the amount of work to organize such a large event. From the weekly planning meetings to the busy schedule during the camp, I often felt that there was always more work for us to do. But due to the hard work of all the planning committee members and the volunteers, there were no major issues during the camp and we were able to adapt to any unforeseen circumstances.

By the end of the camp, many participants had expressed interest in participating in the next camp, whenever it was scheduled. And they even suggested adding extra days so they could learn and experience more. This feedback makes me hopeful that the participants will come back and be more involved with their respective temples, continuing their Tao cultivation journey. Overall, this experience has been extremely rewarding and when the next camp is being planned, I will be more than willing to join the planning committee again. I also hope to see many of the participants sign up again as students (if they are still eligible) or join the planning committee to help make the next camp even more successful.

後學此次加入2025美國一貫道總會青少年成長營的策劃組，相較於2015夏令營後學當學員的經驗非常不一樣。在此次營隊中參與策劃，讓後學體會到辦大活動真的需要很多人的合作與協助；從活動幾個月前每個禮拜的開會，到營隊現場忙碌的行程，讓後學一直都感覺到有做不完的事，可是也因為策劃組和志工的辛勤幫忙，使這次夏令營能夠辦得很成功。

營隊尾聲時，很多參與者表示有興趣參加下一次夏令營，不論安排在什麼時候；他們還都希望下次辦活動時，時間能長一點，好讓他們可以學習和體驗得更多。聽到這些，後學希望大家回去之後常回佛堂，繼續修道。這次經驗讓後學收穫很多，下次如果還有機會，後學也一定會再次參加策劃組，希望這次的學員如果資格符合的話也都能再來參加，否則也可以參與策劃組，一起讓下次的活動辦得更成功。

Since I participated in the 2015 IKT USA Youth Summer Camp, it was my honor to join the planning committee this year. Though it took months of hard work and determination, as well as a tiring five days at camp, I am truly grateful for this opportunity to help plan and lead the summer camp. Watching the campers enjoy both the lectures and the activities, and hearing them say how much they hoped to return if the camp were held again, warmed my heart. I can only hope that the campers will be able to take their experiences and continue their Tao cultivation, and next time, they can bring their friends to also experience the wonders of the summer camp.

I was also fortunate to have an opportunity to serve as a lecturer-in-training at this camp, and I am grateful for the Tao Transmitting Masters’ guidance for the experience. It was such a joy to share my thoughts with the campers, and I learned a lot about how I can make my lectures engaging and how to grow as a lecturer. Overall, I have found this camp to be an enlightening and delightful experience, and if this camp is held again in the future, I would love to return as part of the planning committee once again and help hold the camp even better.

後學十年前參加了2015美國一貫道總會青少年身心靈成長營，所以當後學聽到2025年要辦第二次夏令營時，很榮幸可以參與這次的策劃組。雖然我們花了不少時間和精力，後學仍很感恩有這個機會可以幫辦營隊。這五天中看到學員們無論是上課或參加活動，都笑得很開心，也都說：如果下次再辦夏令營，他們一定會參加。後學聽了覺得非常感動。希望每位學員回家後，能把在營隊中學到的道理運用在日常生活中，努力地修辦道，下次帶他們的朋友一起來參加，體驗夏令營的驚奇。

後學很感恩這次有機會學習當講員，也謝謝點傳師們的指導，讓後學能跟學員們分享自己以前學過的知識，也讓後學有機會成長，學習法施的收穫很多。下次要辦第三次夏令營時，如果還有機會參加策劃組，後學一定會加入，讓下次辦得更圓滿。
